Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients with complex and high-acuity conditions, focusing on neurological, cardiac, sepsis, and trauma cases. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team, utilizing advanced monitoring and intervention skills.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, working every other weekend, with a start date of 10/12/2026 and end date of 01/11/2027. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications. A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; located in a facility with 32 licensed ICU beds; must be available to work 12-hour night shifts; and submit the license for credentialing.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, cardiac, PCI, sepsis, ETOH, stroke, ventricle monitoring, TBI, Camino ICP monitoring; three years of ICU experience preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to support different ICU units and emergency department holds.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be available to work during major holidays, including rotation with core staff; scrubs should be navy blue (RN) or hunter green (NA); no acrylic nails or gel polish allowed during the assignment. Knowledge of Cerner charting system is required; no patient assignment for charge nurses; resource RNs may take patient assignments.
