Job Summary

The location is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, provide health teaching and counseling, and ensure treatment and therapy are supportive and restorative to life and well-being.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 3-12 hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, requiring a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, 1+ years of experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in ICU settings, Bachelor's degree of Nursing (preferred)
  • Responsibilities include evaluating health status through ongoing data collection, performing health teaching and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, monitoring therapy and treatment plans, documenting in accordance with regulatory guidelines, and referring patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs
  • May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts
