Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Morristown/Goryeb. This position involves providing high-acuity patient care in an intensive care setting, supporting the clinical team through thorough assessments, competent clinical skills, and accurate documentation. The role requires delivering patient-centered care across the continuum of surgical and critical care needs.
Job Details
- Position Description: Performs comprehensive assessments, supports patient care activities, manages emergency equipment and procedures, and maintains accurate documentation.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred; RN Licensure; BLS and ACLS certifications; at least 1 year ICU experience; valid licensure and certifications as specified.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have ICU experience, including emergency procedures, patient education, safe transfer techniques, and pre-operative and postoperative assessments. Support for pre-admission testing orders and patient reaction evaluations is required.
- Responsibilities include supporting the perioperative team, managing patient care based on condition and needs, and ensuring compliance with patient safety and confidentiality standards.
