Job Details
- Position Description: This role assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care within the framework of professional standards, utilizing specialized knowledge and judgment. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, and formulating individualized care plans.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and possess or be eligible for licensure in the specialty area with zero or more years of relevant inpatient or ICU experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role involves providing direct patient care, coordination, delegation, supervision of activities of healthcare team members, documentation, participation in ongoing education, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The unit may include ICU and progressive care patients, and float requirements to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) may apply.
