Job Details

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; Licensure to submit required.
  • Education/Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
  • Location Requirements: Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius and hold a valid drivers license.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Duration: Start date on 10/26/2026, end date on 01/25/2027.
  • Additional notes: ICU includes 33 beds with an average daily census of 16; patient ratios are 1:2-3.
  • Responsibilities include titration of cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips; troubleshooting vents and oxygen equipment; monitoring and interpreting strips; and providing care for critically ill adult patients with complex conditions.
  • RNs are required to hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications and must be able to demonstrate competence in care and procedures specific to an ICU environment.
  • Self-scheduling is available for core staff, with occasional float to PCU or MedSurg units.
  • One shift of unit-specific orientation is provided; additional RTO requests beyond 7 days within the contract are not approved.
  • Candidates must be able to quickly respond when called back to work after on-call periods.
