Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse specializing in adult critical care is sought for a night shift position at an acute care facility. The role involves providing high-level nursing care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing computerized charting systems and specialized equipment. The position requires flexibility to meet the needs of the unit and ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, generally every third weekend, with minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU or similar critical care settings; current ACLS and BLS certifications; familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with vents, IV starts, and dressing changes; familiarity with Space Labs and Omnicell equipment; prior work in trauma care level settings.
  • Additional Information: Non-billable orientation of 8 hours is included; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation; local placement is accepted; flu shot from 2019 or later required; must have had a COVID-19 vaccination.
