Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Casper, Wyoming. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients within a high-acuity environment, following established policies and professional standards. The role encompasses assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes through collaboration with the healthcare team.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts; 12-hour shift hours; minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact RN licensure for the state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Professional certification related to ICU nursing is also preferred.
  • Additional Information: The RN will assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Responsibilities include formulating and implementing individualized care plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting patient progress, and participating in quality improvement activities. Candidates are expected to work in a patient-centered, safety-focused manner, adhering to policies and regulatory requirements.
