Job Details

  • Position Description:
    RN - ICU at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA. The role includes floating to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and Emergency Department ICU holds/borders. RNs will also float to Womens and Family units as needed, with orientation provided. The ICU team manages patients with conditions such as preeclampsia, eclampsia, hypertensive disorders, hyperemesis, and postpartum hemorrhage. Ratios will not exceed 1:3 when assigned to any unit or hospital.
  • Required Qualifications:
    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, PA Registered Nurse License, and current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications. A minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience, with at least 2 years of total nursing experience.
  • Schedule:
    Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information:
    RNs are normally assigned 24 hours in advance; however, they may be pulled mid-shift to float to any unit or hospital. The role involves assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs under the guidance of licensed physicians and collaborating with the healthcare team.
