Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a highly ranked, Magnet-certified hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. This role involves supporting adult patient populations across multiple critical care settings including Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU. The RN will deliver specialized care for high-acuity patients in a dynamic environment, with opportunities for growth in an academic learning setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027, 36 hours per week with every other weekend and some holidays. Will accept 4x12s if traveler is interested.
- Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license, 5 years of experience, BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, 0 years minimum experience, inpatient RN experience in acute care, adult ICU experience with neuro ICU, cardiothoracic, burn ICU, trauma surgery, or IMC/Progressive/General care populations, Basic Arrhythmia experience, ability to pass telemetry exam prior to starting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, trauma level I experience, experience with multiple ICU specialties, neuro ICU, burn ICU, trauma, and medical ICU.
- Additional Information:
- Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties.
- Will float to Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma ICU, Medical Surgical ICU, and Progressive units as needed.
- Experience with complex clinical procedures and advanced critical care devices required.
- Candidate must meet strict telemetry exam passing criteria with two attempts.
- Minimum two years of recent acute care experience in the specialty for inpatient RN travelers.
- Pass/fail testing with telemetry exam required prior to start.
