Job Details

  • Position Description: Critical Care Nurse in the ICU with experience managing ventilators, high-flow oxygen, Bipap, Cpap, and administering IV medications such as Levophed, Epinephrine, Insulin, Neo synephrine, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Precedex, fentanyl, versed, Amiodarone, Lidocaine, and paralytics. Responsibilities include intubation, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, EGD, colonoscopy, wound debridement, and line insertion.
  • Certifications Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Schedule: Days and nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, with four weekend shifts every four weeks.
  • Required Qualifications: Experience with ventilators, high-flow oxygen, Bipap, Cpap; IV medication administration; ACLS and BLS certifications; and 2 years of ICU level experience are preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TTM, hemodynamics, PA catheter, and performing advanced procedures in the ICU setting.
  • Additional Information: The role involves working in a unit equipped with ventilators, Artic Sun, Rapid infusers, CRRT machines, IV med pumps, SCD machines, cooling blankets, and glucometers. Candidates must be adaptable to float to other ICU and IMC units as needed.
