Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Adult ICU position requiring ID or compact RN licensure, ACLS/BLS certification, and 2+ years of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the CCU/ICU unit of a Level II Trauma hospital
• 9-bed ICU with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Uses MEDITECH EHR system
• Night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend required
• No standard on-call requirements, though per contract may take call up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
• May be required to float to PCU or Med/Surg units

Requirements

• Active RN license (Idaho or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Required education: RN
• Experience required in neuro, surgical, medical, ventilator, sedation, cardiac, stroke, EKG/rhythm interpretation, and IV placement
• Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to adult and geriatric ICU patients across a wide range of diagnoses and treatments
• Scrub color is flexible, though hoodies, sweats, and hats are not permitted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
