Job Details

- Required Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania registered nurse license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; minimum of 2 years of intensive care experience; experience with electronic health records.
- Additional Information: Provides care for adult and geriatric patients. The unit has four beds and patient ratios of one to four, depending on patient status. Relevant equipment includes ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps, arterial lines, and continuous positive airway pressure devices. Common diagnoses and treatments include diabetic ketoacidosis, ST-elevation myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident, and respiratory failure. No specific scrub color is required.
