This role involves providing critical care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients on a Cardiac Care Unit. The position requires a highly skilled nurse with experience using advanced technology to support patient recovery and safety.

  • Location Requirements: Must live 50 miles away from the healthcare provider.
  • Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; ICU experience of at least 3 years; Cerner experience; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN degree (highly desired).
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The ICU is a multidisciplinary unit caring for patients with neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma needs. Technology utilized includes ventilators, cardiac monitors, arterial lines, PICC lines, ECMO/tandem heart, BIS monitors, continuous renal replacement therapy, and infusion pumps. The role involves fulfilling patient, family, and community needs through a variety of patient care functions in accordance with licensure and regulatory requirements.
