Job Summary:
The organization is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role involves providing specialized critical care to patients with complex conditions, including sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychological disorders. The position offers a full-time schedule with shifts on Saturdays and Sundays during the day, with an additional third day during the week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift on Saturdays and Sundays, with an additional day during the week. Weekly guaranteed hours are 36 hours.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid licenses as a Registered Nurse, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 2 years of ICU experience, comprehensive assessment skills, experience caring for septic patients, and patients on mechanical ventilation with hemodynamic monitoring devices.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), proficiency in Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Additional Information: Floating to other inpatient areas may be required when the home unit is experiencing low census. Orientation includes modules to be completed on the first day, Epic training (if needed), and one day of unit-specific orientation.
