Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves floating between units as needed, providing critical care to adult patients. The assignment begins on 09/28/2026 and concludes on 12/28/2026, with a schedule of 12-hour days and a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license; at least 2 years of experience in the ICU; certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CCRN; skills including arterial line management, ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and other critical care procedures; experience with Epic charting system; ability to float between units; current flu vaccine status unknown; COVID-19 vaccine not required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a trauma level I or II facility preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to meet unit needs.
- Additional Information: The assignment involves providing critical care to adult patients, including advanced procedures such as ECMO, CRRT, and intra-aortic balloon pump management. Candidates must have a vehicle for transportation between various facility locations including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, and Seaside. The role may require working during holidays, with specific scheduling requests to be made during application. References covering one year of recent experience are required, and travel compliance is necessary.
