  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of a school of nursing; one year of recent acute care RN experience in an operating room; current RN license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor within 6 months of hire or transfer
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
  • Additional Information: The RN will ensure patient needs are met, follow infection control protocols, assess and recognize signs of cardiac or respiratory distress, and function effectively in emergency situations such as Code Blue. They will accurately administer and document medications, assist in patient discharge planning, and support staff education. Responsibilities include proper documentation, charging, and utilization of department resources while minimizing incidental overtime. The role demands adaptability to changing environments and effective teamwork.
