Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position in Salem, VA. The role provides care in a surgical intensive care setting for critically ill patients, requiring Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and intensive care experience. A team-focused approach is valued.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and intensive care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Surgical experience.
• Additional Information: The surgical intensive care unit has 12 beds and uses patient ratios of 2:1, 3:1, and 1:1. Typical procedures include drain management and central line placement. Every other weekend is required; no on-call requirement applies. Navy blue scrubs are required.
