Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Night Shift This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The ICU Nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates nursing care, and provides health teaching and counseling to patients in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state of practice, ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school, current BLS (American Heart Association) certification, and 1 year of nursing experience including ICU setting. Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS as appropriate for the unit are preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, previous ICU experience.
  • Additional Information: The role may require float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs. Candidates may be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
