Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position located in Miles City, Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health education and counseling to patients. The nurse will execute delegated medical functions, monitor therapy and treatment plans, and document clinical activities to support patient well-being.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
  • Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs. May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts. The role involves using clinical resources effectively and promoting the organizations mission, vision, and values.
