ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Criticall Care Step-Down Woodstock, VA. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and teenage patients in a critical care or step-down setting within a healthcare facility. The role requires collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts.
Job Details
- Location: Woodstock, VA
- Role: RN ICU Critical Care
- Shift Timing: Nights (6:45 p.m. 7:15 a.m., 12-hour shifts)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday coverage.
- Required Qualifications: Valid VA or Compact Nursing License, ACLS and BLS certifications, 2+ years ICU RN experience, proficiency with Epic electronic medical records, and work experience in Critical Care, Step Down, or Progressive care settings.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and teen patient populations, strong critical care skills, and ability to adapt to floating between units as required.
- Additional Information: The position may involve floating to a Medical Surgical unit, which has 24 beds and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
