Job Summary
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Location: Palestine, TX. This position involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients in a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit. The role requires a positive attitude and self-motivation to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Critical Care RN responsible for managing patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, COPD exacerbation, post-heart catheterization, congestive heart failure, and post-operative recovery at a Level IV Trauma Facility.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, more than 1 year of experience, location within 60 miles or greater of the facility, availability to work shifts of 10 hours with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, guaranteed 36 hours weekly, with 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.
- Additional Information: May float to other units if needed; experience with MedHost electronic health record system preferred.
