• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Unit: Trauma ICU
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Float Requirement: ICU, IMC, and Tele as needed
• Patient Population: Adult critical care
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at the time of submittal
• At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EHR experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• PALS and TNCC preferred
• Strong critical care skills, including ventilator management, central line care, IV management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience working with Level I trauma patients preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and work well in a collaborative healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill trauma patients in a Trauma ICU setting
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and clinical standards
• Manage ventilated patients and support advanced respiratory care needs
• Perform central line care, blood product administration, and cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, IV teams, and other interdisciplinary support services
• Float to ICU, IMC, or Tele units when needed
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Promote safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care every shift
