An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility located in Georgia. The role involves providing specialized care in a Cardiac Care Unit setting, including ICU, PCU, and CCU, with a focus on vent management and drips. This position offers a nights shift schedule with floating requirements across several units over a 13-week duration.
Job Details
- Position Description: ICU RN with experience working in a Cardiac Care Unit environment, including ICU, PCU, and CCU. The role requires managing vent equipment and drips, with Cerner experience preferred.
- Required Qualifications: Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; valid RN license; 2+ years of nursing experience with at least 2 previous travel assignments completed successfully; experience with vent management and drips; Cerner electronic medical records experience; minimum 2 years' experience; located in the United States.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Floating between ICU, PCU, and CCU units may be required.
- Additional Information: Scrub color is navy, and the patient-to-nurse ratio is 2-3:1 in ICU/CCU and 4:1 in PCU. The position starts as soon as possible for a duration of 13 weeks. Blocked scheduling may be accommodated as long as weekend requirements are met.
