ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a hospital setting. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with the potential for a block schedule of 3x12 or 4x12 hours, offering a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment on a short-term assignment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state or compact nursing license, 2 years of ICU experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with community hospital settings, ICU patient management, and travel experience
  • Patient Ratio: 1:2 (adults and geriatrics)

    • Daily census: 8 patients
    • Number of visits per day: 8
    • Number of beds: 10
    • Interdisciplinary support: Physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, social services
  • Additional Information:
    • Interdisciplinary support available to assist with patient care and procedures.
    • Orientation hours: 24 hours, completed onsite during orientation.
    • Travel experience is required; must adhere to compliance rules including licensure and location restrictions.
    • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with prior experience in critical care procedures and protocols.
