Critical Care Float Pool RN – Travel Contract
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,100
Location: Columbus, OH
Specialty: ICU / Critical Care Float Pool
Contract: 17 weeks
Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Teaching hospital experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- EPIC experience required
- Strong IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience required
- Must be comfortable floating between ICU units
Position Details
- Adult patient population
- Critical Care Float Pool
- Float to different ICU units based on staffing and patient acuity
- Float may include:
- Medical ICU (MICU)
- Surgical ICU (SICU)
- Neuro ICU (NCCU)
- Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)
- Cardiology/Diagnostics
- May float to other areas within the organization when critical care needs are met
- Float assignments will be to units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

- IV therapy and IV starts
- Central and PICC line management
- Arterial line management
- Blood product administration
- Ventilator management
- BiPAP/CPAP
- HFNC
- ABG interpretation
- Chest tubes
- Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Continuous IV sedation
- EVD and neurological monitoring
- CVA/acute stroke management
- Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- IV insulin protocols
- 12-lead EKG/ECG
