Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, House Supervisor – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (5:30 AM - 5:30 PM). Assignment duration is 8 weeks through December 28, 2026. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Leadership role supervising nursing care across all units within the organization
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Opportunity to utilize crisis intervention, code management, and regulatory compliance expertise
• 40 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
• May include floating to nearby sister facilities as needed

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Experience with inpatient acute care, code management, crisis intervention, rapid response teams, and discharge processes
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements including DPH, TJC, and OSHA standards
• Strong skills in customer service, infection control, isolation procedures, and workplace safety
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required; facility does not accept Nursys or background check discrepancies
• Candidates located within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at adjusted compensation
