Description

American Traveler is hiring a House Supervisor RN with OB and ER/Med-Surg cross-coverage capability for a rotating day/night assignment requiring MN licensure.

Details

  • House Supervisor role covering ER, Med-Surg, and OB units
  • Must be able to serve as baby nurse for deliveries when needed
  • 3x12 rotating day/night shifts (0700-1930 and 1900-0730)
  • Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required
  • Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

  • Active Minnesota RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, and TNCC or CALS certifications required (NRP may be obtained during compliance)
  • OB experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Must be able to manage ER patients and attend deliveries/resuscitations
  • Must complete Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date
  • Required lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include supervisory oversight across multiple units including ER, Med-Surg, and OB
  • Must attend deliveries and provide newborn resuscitation support as needed
  • Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
  • Candidates must reside at least 25 miles from the facility to be considered
  • Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
  • Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
  • First-time travelers may be considered with appropriate experience
