Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with required OASIS and HCHB EMR experience for a geriatric caseload in the Spokane area.

Details

  • Home Health setting serving an adult geriatric patient population
  • Caseload averages 5-7 patients per day
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday day shift (5x8, 8:00-17:00) with one weekend every 4 weeks
  • On-call rotation required
  • Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
  • Traveler must be flexible with assigned territory
  • All charting must be completed by 9am the following morning

Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license required, must be in hand prior to consideration
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent relevant Home Health experience
  • OASIS experience required for completing Start of Care (SOC) assessments
  • Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
  • Active driver's license and personal transportation required
  • Hospice/Home Health Checklist completion required

Additional Information

  • Perform adult home health visits including admission assessments, start of care, recertification, resumption of care, routine visits, and discharge documentation
  • Responsibilities include wound/integumentary care, medication administration and management, pain assessment, IV and subcutaneous/intramuscular medication administration, phlebotomy, and infection control precautions
  • Timely communication and documentation practices are mandatory
  • Scrubs required in any color, no jeans permitted
  • Company-provided iPad for charting, personal cell phone not used for work purposes
  • Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
  • Monday orientation required, including completion of billable training modules
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
  • Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
  • Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have independent transportation
  • Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
  • RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
