Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Home Health RN with OASIS experience and a VA or compact RN license for a 13-week assignment near Fredericksburg, VA.

Details

  • Home Health setting providing adult patient care
  • Monday-Friday day shift, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with one weekend per month
  • Comp time provided during the week to offset weekend scheduling
  • Call responsibilities required, details discussed at interview
  • HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) EMR preferred, training provided during orientation if needed
  • Covers a 50-mile radius territory from the Fredericksburg office
  • iPad, tablet, and phone provided for documentation

Requirements

  • Active VA or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification (hands-on, not virtual)
  • Minimum of one year of Home Health experience required
  • OASIS experience or training required
  • HCHB experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

  • Provide skilled nursing care to adult home health patients
  • Clean, professional-looking scrubs required for dress code
  • Positive TB test results in automatic cancellation; chest X-rays not accepted as an alternative
  • Expected to work some holidays and weekends in rotation with staff
  • Assigned to a home location with potential floating to other locations as needed
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate
  • Minimal RTO preferred during the first few weeks of the assignment
