Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Home Health / Geriatric) – Kalamazoo, MI 49007
Start Date: September 9, 2026
Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with on-call and holiday rotations. 40 guaranteed hours per week.
Highlights:
- 91-day travel assignment providing clinical care to elderly participants in a PACE program setting
- Combination of clinic-based and home-based direct nursing care
- Work independently applying advanced nursing knowledge in geriatric and home health settings
- Triage emergent situations and manage complex clinical conditions in coordination with primary care providers
- Perform wound care, lab draws, nurse assessments, and administer treatments and medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Active Michigan RN license
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum one year of experience working with frail, elderly, or long-term care populations
- Home care experience preferred (minimum one year)
- Wound care experience preferred (minimum one year)
- Current CPR certification by AHA or willingness to obtain
- Valid Michigan driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Full vaccination required or willingness to be vaccinated against Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Tdap/Td, COVID-19, and Hepatitis B
