Histologist in Cleveland, Ohio. This position involves tissue cutting and embedding within a high-volume, hospital-based histology laboratory. The role requires maintaining high standards of laboratory practice and specimen processing to support diagnostic pathology services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified Histotechnologist (HT) credential from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP); experience in a high-volume hospital-based histology laboratory.
• Preferred Qualifications: HT (ASCP) certification with 5 years of experience; laboratory specimen experience, preferably with Epic Beaker Laboratory Information System.
• Additional Information: Sitting and standing as needed to perform tissue processing duties. Position urgency is normal.
