Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology Clinic RN requiring a CA RN license, BSN, and outpatient Hem/BMT clinic experience.

Details

• Outpatient Oncology Clinic setting within a teaching hospital medical center
• BMT and outpatient Hem/BMT clinic patient population
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Ability to float to other facilities within the health system as needed, including reassignment within a 75+ mile radius
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BSN required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• BMT experience required
• Outpatient oncology experience required
• Outpatient Hem/BMT clinic experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required and must be noted in employment history
• 2 professional references from most recent employer required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within an outpatient oncology clinic specializing in BMT and hematology/oncology patients
• Candidates must disclose all requested time off at time of consideration, with manager approval required and no RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as traveler candidates
• Any prior employment with University of California medical facilities or their acquired facilities must be disclosed, including dates worked, units, and manager names
• Travel pairs are allowed but generally will not be placed on the same unit
