Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN with at least 2 years of recent specialty experience for a GI Lab position requiring holiday coverage.

Details

  • Work in a hospital GI Lab performing a wide range of GI and pulmonary interventional procedures
  • Procedures include colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopies, feeding tube placement, ERCP, EBUS, GI bleeds, flex sig, foreign body retrieval, navigation bronch, variceal banding, Bravo manometry, and capsule endoscopy
  • Schedule is 4x10hr day shifts, Monday-Friday 0630-1700
  • Call required during the week and on weekends

Requirements

  • Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in GI/Endoscopy specialty required

Additional Information

  • Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
  • Former perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
