Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring strong IV skills and a VA or compact RN license.

Details

• GI/Endoscopy unit handling approximately 25 procedures per day (75% outpatient, 25% inpatient)
• Uses Epic and EndoWorks EMR systems
• Day shift schedule, 0700-1730, four shifts per week with varying days
• No floating required
• On-call required 1-2 times per week, including weekend coverage (10-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday) and self-scheduled 2-hour weekday call shifts
• Holiday coverage provided through on-call rotation (PRN basis)

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• BLS certification (must be AHA) and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy nursing experience required
• Strong IV skills required

Additional Information

• One week of floor orientation provided
• Scrub requirements: navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, and solid navy blue or solid white jackets
• Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per 12-week assignment or 3 shifts per 13-week assignment without penalty
