Requirements
- Current New Mexico RN license OR Compact RN license
- BLS certification through AHA – Required
- 1+ year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
- BSN preferred
Unit & Clinical Details
- Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
- EMR: Epic
- Scrubs: Grey
- Float to all Med/Surg departments
- Provide routine and complex patient care
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
- Monitor patient response, side effects, and treatment effectiveness
- Complete patient assessments and documentation
- Provide patient and family education
- Collaborate with the healthcare team and delegate appropriately
Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Blocked scheduling accommodated
- Weekend: 2–4 shifts per month, rotated among staff
- On Call: 2–4 shifts per month, rotated among staff
- Floating: Required within Med/Surg departments
