Job Requirements

• Active New Mexico RN license or current Compact RN license
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Current ACLS certification from AHA
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Comfort providing care for telemetry, post-surgical, and higher-acuity monitored patients

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document initial patient assessments and prioritize care based on patient needs
• Reassess patients regularly to identify changes, trends, and interventions required
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in alignment with nursing standards
• Make sound clinical decisions based on patient evaluations and outcomes
• Provide patient and family education, including discharge planning support
• Deliver timely nursing interventions and evaluate plan effectiveness
• Perform point-of-care testing and maintain accurate documentation
• Support safe, efficient care for patients receiving high-risk medications and respiratory therapies
