Travel Nursing Job Details

- Work Setting: On-site, critical-access hospital environment
Med-Surg Telemetry RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Hawaii
- At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical and/or telemetry nursing experience
- Strong experience using EPIC electronic health records
- Ability to provide safe, effective patient care during rotating day and night shifts
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Current required nursing credentials and certifications appropriate to the practice setting
Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Nursing Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, clinical status, and response to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Complete patient assessments, care planning, documentation, and clinical updates in EPIC
- Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate care team
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary staff to support coordinated patient care
- Provide patient and family education related to diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning
- Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
