    Summary of Primary Functions: To hook up concrete members to crane so that the erection lead and rigger have members readily available for setting.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high quality products.

    • Checks fuel and lubricant levels of flat bed truck.

    • Hooks up crane chokers to lifting loops or bolts on swivels depending on members.

    • Loads shipping 4x4 boards off and on trailers.

    • Directs truck drivers to drop-off locations.

    • Unloads various erection materials off trailers and stores in proper location.

    • Sends any tools and equipment up to erection crew when needed by hooking to the crane.

    • Sweeps foundation before panels are set.

    • Mixes grout in wheelbarrow.

    • Builds grout frame boxes and pours grout around set columns.

    • Helps relocate crane by raising balance legs, moving wood platforms to new location, directing crane, reposition legs until crane is level.

    • Helps other crew members with ground work, helps assemble and disassemble crane.

    • Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

    Job Specifications or Qualifications:

    Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Previous experience in finishing concrete is required.
