  • Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) RN
  • License:Active NY RN license in hand – Required
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted
  • Charting:EPIC experience required
  • Patient Ratio: 1:5

    Required Certifications
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS

    Unit Details
  • ED: 11-bed medical Emergency Department
  • Separate CPEP (psychiatric emergency) unit within the ED
  • CPEP evaluation area: 6 patients
  • Extended Observation area: 2 patients
  • CPEP staffed by RN, PCT, and Behavioral Health team
  • Patients are medically cleared before entering CPEP
  • CPEP patients may require labs and EKGs
  • Staff typically cover CPEP in 6-hour blocks on days/mids
  • 12-hour CPEP coverage may be assigned on nights

  • Security available in the ED
