GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department in Omaha, NE. This facility is a tertiary referral center with a 48-bed Emergency Department providing care for various acuities, conditions, and age ranges. Nursing ratios typically vary based on care area and acuity of patients, generally maintaining a 1:4 ratio.
As an ER Registered Nurse, you may be required to work some mid-shifts (15:00 - 03:00); however, you will not cycle off nights into a mid-shift. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC. Weekend shifts are required, with 3 shifts in a 4-week period.
The facility has board-certified ED attending staff available 24/7 and is recognized as a Level 2 Pediatric STEMI and Stroke facility. Clinicians will not float outside their scope to meet facility needs. Please note that locals are not accepted; candidates must be more than 100 miles from the facility. Pending licenses are accepted, but if the license is not in hand at the time of submission, the traveler will be booked six weeks out.
Requests for time off (RTO) are permitted up to 5 days and must be submitted with the application. Additional requests after confirmation will be at the manager's discretion. This is a 100% nicotine-free facility. Scrubs are mandatory; RNs will wear Steele gray scrubs with the facility logo printed on the back. Information on obtaining these scrubs will be provided once the traveler is confirmed.
