Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic experience.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
  • Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36-48 hours per week
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active RN license in California required
  • Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
  • Current ACLS certification required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
  • Current PALS certification required (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in the ER specialty, within the last 3 months
  • BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
  • No prior license actions or disciplinary history allowed

Additional Information

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
  • Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans
  • Implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and promote a safe healing environment
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Provide patient/family education and participate in discharge planning
  • Required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
  • No radius requirement; local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
