Shift:1:00 PM – 1:00 AM (12-hour shift)

Facility: Level I trauma teaching facility

ED size: 53 beds

Annual ED volume: Approximately 55,000–60,000 visits

EHR: Cerner

Scrubs: Navy top and bottom

Staffing: RNs, clerks, transporters, and PCTs

Environment: Physician and nursing residency programs; inpatient holding/boarding is likely

Contract:90 weeks

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license before hire/transfer
• BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer
• ALS/ACLS within 6 months, unless an accepted instructor credential is used
• PALS within 6 months, unless an accepted instructor credential is used
• AHA or American Red Cross certifications accepted
