Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Manage acute psychosis, drug overdoses, traumatic injuries, and other emergency situations.
• Administer emergency medications and blood products, and manage ventilated patients.
• Perform arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, and central line care.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage isolation precautions and PPE.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Respiratory Services.
• Float within skillset as required, maintaining patient care standards across units.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Active New York Single State RN license (pending licenses not accepted).
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Must be available to work alternating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment and manage multiple priorities.
