Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED or ICU experience and comfort managing high-acuity, critical care patients.

Details

Large, high-acuity emergency department with 118 beds
Highly diverse patient population including behavioral health, boarding patients, and critically ill/ICU-level cases
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
NOC shift schedule (19:00-07:30), 3x12s or 4x12s available, 36 hours per week
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active MA RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience required, post-orientation
Strong critical care skills and adaptability required for a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Additional Information

Manage complex and unstable emergency patients across a wide range of acuity levels
Work within a large-scale ED setting requiring flexibility and strong clinical judgment
