Description
TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Newark, Delaware.

RN – ER I | Christiana Hospital
Location: Newark, Delaware
Specialty: Emergency Room (ER I)
Contract Length: 13–25 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Nights 7pm - 7am or Evenings 11am - 11pm or Days 7am - 7pm
Hours: 36 hours per week
Position Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience required – no exceptions.
- Active Delaware or Compact RN license must be in hand.
- Recent Epic experience required.
- EMR Note: Cerner is listed in the unit details; please confirm the correct EMR requirement.
- Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:4.
- Unit capacity: 21–30 beds.
- Navy blue scrubs required.
Schedule & Time Off
- Every 3rd weekend required.
- Holiday coverage required.
- No on-call requirements.
- Block scheduling is not available.
- Maximum 3 days of RTO permitted; all requests must be submitted with the initial application. No subsequent RTO requests will be considered or approved.
- RTO Blackout Period: September 8–October 31.
- Travel RNs cannot pick up overtime or accumulate incidental overtime.
Clinical Responsibilities
The RN may be required to perform or assist with:
- Moderate sedation.
- Stroke, cardiac, and trauma code responses.
- Cardiac and respiratory arrest management.
- External pacing.
- Emergency care for patients across all age groups.
Floating Requirements
No floating outside the Emergency Department. Additional time may be required in CED/WED.

- RN license number and expiration date.
- Certifications and expiration dates.
- Complete address.
- All requested time off (RTO).
Additional Details
- Local Rule: Candidates residing within 50 miles are considered local.
- Offer Process: Auto Offer – ER List A.
- Overtime: Not permitted for travel RNs, including incidental overtime.
