Noor Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Float ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Bronx, New York.

Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Work in a fast-paced emergency room environment with high patient turnover requiring quick transitions
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 with at least 2 ERG nurses per shift
• Beds are intermixed within ER and inpatient overflow areas with fluctuating census
• Float to med/surg telemetry units within the hospital when no hold patients are present
• Travelers are first to float when there is a need on other units
• Every other weekend requirement with possible holiday rotation
• No block scheduling - travelers are expected to fill gaps in permanent staff schedules and remain flexible
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Must have previous ER hold experience
• Vented trach experience preferred for floating purposes
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips independently (no monitor techs on unit)
• Must be comfortable titrating Heparin drips
• Maximum oxygen delivery of 6L
• Working independently with ER staff available for support (no charge nurse)
• ER aides available to assist with break coverage
• Charting system: Allscripts
• Scrub color: Royal Blue (not provided)
• Orientation includes 3 classroom days and 1 day of unit orientation with a preceptor
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excessive call-ins are taken seriously and could lead to termination
