**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as a Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Unit:** Emergency Department - **Start Date:** October 19th or 26th - **Shift:** 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM - **Charge Capability:** Highly Preferred - **Floating Required:** Yes - **Scrub Color:** Navy Blue **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. - Work with a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. - Engage in collaborative care for common diagnoses such as: - Stroke - Sepsis - Trauma - Myocardial Infarction - Cardiac Arrest - Respiratory Failure - Utilize specialty equipment, including: - Rapid Infusor - Arctic Sun **Patient Care Requirements:** - Manage a variety of medications and drips, including: - Pressors: Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, and Dopamine - Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG - Anti-arrhythmics: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido - Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, TNK, Heparin, and Insulin **Submission Requirements:** - Must live 75 miles away from the facility (Travel position). - Local candidates are also welcome (less than 75 miles). - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department with pediatric experience. - Must document travel experience. - Completed skills checklist matching the specialty. - Valid driver’s license with an address that matches demographics. - Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC. - Active NY License with NURSYS Report for license verification. - Required Time Off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
