Join our team as an ER Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Santa Clarita, CA. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are 100% committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality healthcare services to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patients in a Level II Trauma Center, including adults and pediatrics.
• Perform interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Administer emergency medications and manage IV therapies.
• Conduct phlebotomy and start IVs as needed.
• Provide care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Perform triage and manage various emergency conditions including trauma, respiratory infections, and mental health crises.
• Assist in procedures such as chest tube insertion and intubation.

Certifications Required:

• ACLS
• BLS
• MAB
• NIHSS
• PALS

Skills Required:

• Ability to manage and apply splints for orthopedic trauma.
• Experience with blood product administration and central line management.
• Proficient in CVA ICP monitoring and neuro-trauma care.
• Knowledgeable in managing patients with various emergency conditions such as asthma, burns, and seizures.
• Experience in mental/behavioral health conditions and managing violent behavior.

Please note that every other weekend is required, and possible floating may be necessary based on unit needs. Candidates must be fully committed to the role, as cancellations will result in being marked a DNR.
