Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients from newborn to geriatric ages using ESI triage scale.
• Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform IV insertion, medication administration, and manage drips and infusions.
• Conduct EKGs and apply restraints as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to procedural sedation protocols and perform transports via ambulance when needed.
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and manage medication dispensing via Pyxis.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Vermont.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an emergency room setting, with at least one completed travel contract.
• Experience with EPIC documentation system within the last 2 years.
• Previous charge nurse and transport experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and flexible with schedule adjustments.
