RN (Registered Nurse) - ER/ED | Travel | Location Not Provided

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care for a travel assignment in a Level 1 trauma setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling a wide variety of patients, from newborns to the elderly, and should excel in managing critical care situations.

Assignment Details

  • Care Setting: Acute
  • Shift: 3P-3A
  • Shift Length: 12 hours
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Nurse: Patient Ratio: 1:3-5
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend on a rotation
  • Holiday Requirements: Negotiable based on contract request
  • Floating Requirements: Rarely floated to assist on other units

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient care in a Level 1 trauma Emergency Room
  • Administer and titrate various medications including vasopressor drips
  • Interpret and act on cardiac rhythms
  • Collaborate with the specialized trauma team
  • Participate in patient assessment and documentation

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active IL license or application initiated
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
  • Proficiency in vasopressor drips and critical care
  • Understanding of emergency and trauma care protocols

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of nursing experience
  • Experience in a teaching hospital setting
  • Previous travel assignment experience
  • SANE RN experience
